LEGION SCOTLAND CLAY PIGEON CHALLENGE CUP

32 Entrants took part in the Legion Scotland Clay Pigeon Challenge Cup at Army Headquarters Scotland on 29th July. This is the first time the new Logo had been displayed on a piece of silverware and competition to be the first to win it was fierce. It was also the first time that many of the veterans' charities had taken part in a sporting event together with representatives from The Real Forces Employment Agency, World Wide Volunteering, SSAFA, Veterans' First Point, Barclays Finance, The Personnel recovery unit, The Mark Wright Project and SAMH as well as Legion Scotland members from as far afield as Methlick and the Royal Scots Association. There was also representation from serving soldiers from 7 Scots. The eventual winner with a score of 23 was Lewis Greenhowe from Methlick Legion Scotland and winner of the Young Gun trophy for best novice was Michael McNally from 7 scots with 14.
